Tien Giang Provincial Police Department organizes training on AI application in office management

The training event was part of the local police’s plan to execute Resolution No. 57 on breakthrough development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation issued by the Politburo, and actively join the “Digital Literacy” movement launched by the Government.

Deputy Director of the Tien Giang Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Tan chaired the workshop.

The workshop was attended by leaders and staff officers from various subordinate units of the Tien Giang Provincial Police Department.

At the event, Arbitrator at the Tien Giang International Commercial Arbitration Center and Director of the AIOV Institute Ngo Huu Thong gave participants an overview of AI, introduced a range of AI applications relevant to office work, internal security and citizen communication, as well as delivered a presentation on information security in applying AI.

In addition, the lecturer provided the attending police officers with practical instructions on the application of AI technologies to daily police work, especially the use of AI’s utility and skillsets to draft and revise documents, manage worksheets, carry out data analysis and records management.

The training workshop aimed to enhance local police officers’ awareness of the potential and strategic significance of AI application in various aspects of the professional work, contributing to the development of a modern and agile working environment that meets evolving operational demands of the Public Security Forces in the new situation.
