Minister To Lam suggested the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Chilean Ministry of Interior and Public Security increased exchange of delegations at all levels to improve mutual understanding, explore and expand cooperation potential in the field of security, police so as to ensure security and safety for high-ranking delegations and citizens of one country in the other.
The two sides should also share information and experience in preventing and controlling transnational crimes while heading for negotiations on the signing of cooperation documents between the two agencies in order to create a legal basis for further cooperation in crime prevention and control between the two countries.

Sincerely thanking Minister To Lam for the meeting, Ambassador Sergio Narea affirmed that, during his term of officie, he will do his best to boost bilateral relations and cooperation in the fields of security, crime prevention and control for the benefits of the people of each country.

Minister To Lam emphasized that 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Over the past 30 years, Vietnam - UAE relations have developed positively in the fields of politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, labor, tourism while senior leaders of the two countries have also exchanged their visits.
Minister To Lam suggested the two sides continue to actively exchange experience in law enforcement, share criminal information, and coordinate in arresting and handing over criminals wanted by one country hiding in the other.

The two sides should enhance the exchange of high-level delegations and experts, expand cooperation in opening foreign language and professional training courses, tap cooperation potential in the fields of civil defense, fire prevention and fighting, and rescue.
Sincerely thanking Minister To Lam for the meeting, Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi affirmed that he will make effort to foster comprehensive cooperation and good relations between UAE – Vietnam, and act as a bridge between the law enforcement agencies of the UAE and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, contributing to firmly ensuring national security and prosperity of each country and for the benefits of each people.
