For their part, experts from UNODC clarified the mission and core pillars of the UNODC’s Global Programme on Cybercrime, and updated delegates on modern technologies exploited by offenders to commit cybercrime such as artificial intelligence (AI), dark web and IoT devices.

Over the past time, thanks to the close collaboration of involved ministries and branches and the participation of businesses, organizations and individuals, especially member businesses of the National Cybersecurity Association, the work of preventing and combating cyber frauds has initially achieved important results.

Accordingly, a legal corridor was basically formed, providing a strong basis for the work of preventing and combating high-tech crimes in general and cyber frauds in particular.

In the complicated situation of cybercrime with sophisticated methods and tricks of offenders, the Ministry of Public Security underlines that the work of cybercrime prevention and control is not only the task of the police force, but also the responsibility of ministries, branches, businesses and the whole society, as well as the support from international partners.
