During the talks, the two head delegates highlighted the continued development of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Belarus across various sectors.
Over the past years, the two countries have maintained and promoted delegation exchanges at all levels, supported each other at multilateral forums and international organizations and strengthened cooperation in science and technology, education and training, transportation, culture and people-to-people exchange.

Building on the strong foundations, General Secretary To Lam’s State visit to Belarus, his first in his capacity as the Party General Secretary, was recognized as a meaningful milestone, contributing to opening up new avenues for bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of security and law enforcement.
During the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang and Chairman Volkov Alexei Aleksandrovich reached consensus on future cooperation orientations between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the State Forensic Examination Committee of Belarus.

The two sides committed to effectively implementing the existing cooperation agreement, while enhancing information and experience sharing in the field of forensic science with a focus on high-tech crime.
They also agreed to launch different training courses to build capacity of forensic experts of the two sides, and to jointly organize regular conferences and workshops to exchange new methods and techniques in forensic examination.
