Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen works with Dak Nong Provincial Police Department

MPS - Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen had a working session with the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department on April 21, 2025.

At the meeting, Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Ho Song An reported to the Deputy Minister on the police department’s work outcomes and notable achievements of the local police in 2025.

According to the report, under the sound leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Party Committee, the People’s Council, and the People’s Committee of Dak Nong Province, and thanks to the close coordination of under-ministerial public security units and relevant provincial departments and branches, the Dak Nong Provincial Police Force took synchronous professional measures and maintained political security and ensure social order and safety in support of the province’s socio-economic development and foreign affairs.

Addressing the working session, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen acknowledged and commended the Dak Nong Police Force for its efforts and outstanding achievements in recent times.

He noted that the department had effectively addressed issues relating to security and public order, successfully preventing unexpected scenarios while achieving encouraging results in crime prevention and control.

The Deputy Minister also praised the department for its proactive, creative and drastic implementation of the project to restructure the organization of the Public Security Forces, which contributed significantly to maintaining security and order from the grassroots level.

In the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested that the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department continue to implement the key tasks outlined in its 2025 work plan, focusing on carrying out the directions of the Party Central Committee, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee on public security affairs with a view to ensuring local security and order in all situations.

He also urged the police department to actively prepare for the upcoming administrative mergers of communes and provinces, ensuring smooth operation without any operational disruption or ineffectiveness.

Furthermore, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen directed the department to further promote the “All People Protecting National Security” movement, strengthen the management of temporary detention and criminal judgment execution, and make thorough preparations for the 2025 amnesty process.

Finally, he stressed the need to ensure absolute security and safety for Party congresses at all local levels, contributing to the successful organization of the 14th National Party Congress.
