Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To Assoc. Prof., Dr., attended and delivered a keynote speech at the ceremony.
In the previous school year, the Pary Committee and the Board of Directors of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting attached great importance to the work of Party building, political and ideological education as well as effectively launched emulation movements in the university, creating a vibrant atmosphere among teaching staff, officials and students and encouraging them to excellently complete all assigned tasks of the school year.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the Fire University for its outstanding achievements in the 2023 – 2024 school year.
Regarding its general work plan for the 2024 – 2025 school year of the university, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested the school to pay due attention to Party building and force building, further perceive the method of the Party’s leadership as well as enhance Party organizations and Party members’ combat capability as well as promote the role of heads of Party committees and leaders of faculties, units and offices.

The Deputy Minister also asked the school to thoroughly grasp all directives and instructions of the Public Security Central Party Committee on fundamental and comprehensive renovation in education and training in the Public Security Forces in line with Resolution No.12 issued by the Politburo.
The university leadership should also draft a project to establish schools under the university, build a “Smart university” model in couple with stepping up digital transformation, big data management as well as digital education, smart and innovative education adapting to the development of artificial intelligence.

The Deputy Minister underlined that the university should proactively apply modern methods of teaching, learning and student management, considering it a key step to improve the quality of its education and training.
The Deputy Minister also requested that all students of the university should improve their political awareness as well as equip themselves with sufficient professional knowledge and skills, so that they can become qualified fire police officers meeting the requirements for actual tasks of units after graduation.
