Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam sincerely thanked the press management agencies and press agencies for their coordination and support for the press agencies of the Public Security Forces in disseminating the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State and activities of the People's Public Security Forces.
Minister To Lam revealed that the People's Public Security Forces had successfully completed the tasks of ensuring security and order, contributing to maintaining political and social stability and effectively serving the cause of national development and defense.
Notably, the police force had taken synchronous measures to reduce crime, creating positive changes in social order and safety while effectively investigating cases related to economic wrong doings and corruption, such as the cases of FLC, Tan Hoang Minh, Van Thinh Phat, Viet A, Vietnam Automobile Registry Department.
The minister also said that the Public Security Forces have basically finished the project on the National Population Database, contributing positively to the process of national digital transformation, building e-government, digital economy and digital society.
Additionally, the Ministry of Public Security advised the Prime Minister to launch Project 06 on enhancing the application of population, electronic identification and authentication data to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030, with the aim of providing people with more and more benefits.
At present, the Ministry of Public Security is effectively implementing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW issued on March 16, 2022 by the Politburo on promoting the building of truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces to the task requirements in the new situation.
On behalf of the press management agencies, press agencies, Mr. Le Quoc Minh congratulated the People's Public Security Forces on the fruitful results in the past time and sincerely thanked the Ministry of Public Security for regularly organizing press conferences to provide useful and timely information.
He hoped that in the coming time, the People's Public Security Forces would continue to provide information to press agencies.
On the occasion of the upcoming 2023 Lunar New Year, Mr. Le Quoc Minh sent his best wishes to the minister, other leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the entire People's Public Security Forces.
