MPS holds conference to review the handling of administrative violations

MPS - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on December 21 organized a conference to review the inspection work specializing in the handling of administrative violations of criminal and drug cases, as well as in investigation and settlement of traffic accidents.

In recent years, the work of handling administrative wrongdoings have achieved good results, making positive contributions to preventing and fighting crimes and law offences, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the State management over security and order of the People's Police Force while promoting publicity, transparency and democracy in dealing with law offences and ensuring legitimate rights and interests of the people.

Participants in the meeting also discussed shortcomings and difficulties in handling administrative violations, and gave solutions to the discussed issues.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Do Van Hoanh, Chief of the Inspectorate under the Ministry of Public Security, urged all units within the force to report limitations and shortcomings in the implementation of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations to higher authorities, as well as suggest appropriate amendments to the Law to meet the requirements of the prevention and fight against crimes and other law offences.

He also asked all police units to promote inspections and checks to prevent wrongdoings in the implementation of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations, improve the capacity and sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers in law enforcement, and overcome shortcomings and difficulties, contributing to building a clean and strong People's Police force, meeting the task requirements in the new situation.
