President Luong Cuong visits Security Guard Command, Mobile Police Command

MPS - On the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tet), President Luong Cuong, Member of the Politburo, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council, and Commander-in-Chief of the People's Armed Forces, visited and extended Tet regards to all officers and enlistees of the Security Guard Command and the Mobile Police Command, on January 22nd, in Hanoi.

The President-led delegation was joined by Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the President’s Office Le Khanh Hai and Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Internal Affairs Nguyen Huu Dong and other officials.

Welcoming the delegation were Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Ministers of Public Security Le Quoc Hung, Nguyen Ngoc Lam and the Commanders of Security Guard Command and the Mobile Police Command.

On behalf of Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong extended best Tet regards to all officers, non-commissioned officers, enlistees, and contractors of the Security Guard Command and the Mobile Police Command, wishing them a happy Lunar New Year.

The President hailed the outstanding achievements of the Security Guard Command and the Mobile Police Command over the past year, and acknowledged that the two commands had successfully fulfilled all political tasks entrusted by the Party and State leaders as well as leaders of the Ministry of Public Security.

Regarding key tasks in the coming period, the President requested that the Security Guard and Mobile Police Forces continue to fully embrace and uphold the principle of the Party's absolute and direct leadership over all aspects of the armed forces, including the Public Security Forces, and join efforts with other forces to build truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces in line with Resolution No. 12 by the Politburo.

President Luong Cuong also urged the Security Guard and Mobile Police Forces to heighten their sense of responsibility, always put on the alert, and enhance their combat readiness to deny any strategic surprise or disadvantage in any circumstances, while excellently fulfilling all the tasks assigned by the Public Security Central Party Committee, contributing to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for the country's development.

On this occasion, President Luong Cuong also presented Tet gifts to the two commands’ officers and enlistees.
