Bac Kan Provincial Police Department hands over hostel to staff of local school

MPS - On the occasion of the 42nd Vietnamese Teacher’s Day, the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department held a ceremony to unveil and hand over a hostel to teachers of the Binh Trung Secondary and High School, on November 20th, in Binh Trung commune, Cho Don district.

Accordingly, the hostel has two-blocks with 16 apartments for the local teachers whose families are far from the school.

Each apartment has an area of 21,4 square meters with a bedroom and a living room.

The hostel also has heat-resistant ceilings and emergency exits.

Each block has a 60 m2 common kitchen and 3 bathrooms for common use.

After 13 days of construction, the housing project has been finished and put into use.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Ha Van Tuyen said that, sympathizing with the difficulties of the school’s teaching staff, the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department had mobilized local police officers and enlistees as well as other donors to raise funds for the building of the housing project for the teachers of the school.

Sincerely thanking for the support and sympathy of the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department, Headmaster of the school Luc Van Man underlined that the housing project is significant to the school’s staff, and it also contributes to strengthening people’s trust in the Public Security Forces.

He took the chance to call on the entire teaching staff and students of the school to actively respond to the “Teach well, study well” movement as well as build a safe and secure school model.
