Department of External Security hands over “Compassion Homes” to disadvantaged families in Cao Bang

MPS - A delegation from the Department of External Security, led by its Deputy Director Major General Dang Khac Chat, in collaboration with the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department, recently handed over "Homes of Compassion" to the families of Mr. Hoang Van Thanh in Hoa An district and Mr. Ly Van Rinh in Ha Quang district.

In response to the emulation movement to eradicate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide launched by the Party and State, the Department of External Security has funded for the construction of 12 “Homes of Compassion” in Cao Bang province, over the past years.

In 2024, the Department of External Security coordinated with the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department to provide funding for the construction of six "Homes of Compassion" for disadvantaged families in Cao Bang province.

Earlier, the department had raised funds among officers and enlistees of the force as well as mobilized benefactors to join the social program.

Building homes for people in need is an activity of great humanity, demonstrates the spirit of compassion and sympathy of external security officers as well as their  high sense of responsibility toward the community.

The good social program carried by the Department of External Security has been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party committees, authorities and people of Cao Bang province.
