More than 200 police officers voluntarily donate blood in Ha Tinh

MPS - The Youth Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department organized a meeting to award officers for their achievements in the 2023 voluntary blood donation movement, and launch the first voluntary blood donation drive in 2024, on February 28.

Following the slogan "A drop of blood donated - a life saved", more than 200 police officers and enlistees from functional agencies of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department participated in the first blood donation drive in 2024, in an effort to meet the need of blood for treatment at local hospitals and medical facilities.
 
The humanitarian blood donation program, which is held annually by the Provincial Police Youth Union chpater is of humanitarian significance, showing the responsibility of the young police officers and enlistees to the local community.
 
Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Pham Thanh Phuong, awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Police Department to subunits and officers for their outstanding achievements in the 2023 blood donation movement.

The blood donation also helps beautify the image of the police officer in the local community. 
 
According to the organizing panel, 155 units of blood were collected in the first blood donation drive.
