Nghe An police build homes of compassion for the poor

The social project of the local police aims at celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (07/5/1954) and 49th anniversary of the South Liberation and Reunification Day (30/4/1975). 

Implementing the program on building homes for local families with housing difficulty in the period 2023-2025 launched by the local authorities, the Tan Ky District Police Station had raised funds for the building of five homes of compassion for poor households in the district.

In Tan Hop commune, the Tan Ky District Police Station has decided to provide funding for couple Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ha to build their new home. The couple is in a difficult circumstance as they have an elderly disabled mother and two children with serious illness.

They have had to live in a shanty house for a long time, but they have not been able to repair it. 

With the funding from the Tan Ky District Police Station, a new house is expected to be built and handed over to the poor family in three months’ time.  

So far, the Tan Ky District Police Station has funded for the building of five homes, up by 200% from the target set in the program on building homes of compassion for poor households in the period 2023-2025. 

According to its plan, the Tan Ky District Police Station  will build the 6th home of compassion in Ky Son commune.
