Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung inspects public security work of Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Head of Inspection Delegation No. 2 of the Ministry of Public Security, chaired a working session with the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department on November 14 to announce the results of the delegation’s comprehensive inspection of the local police’s professional work.

Earlier, from November 11 to 13, the working group under Inspection Delegation No. 2, led by Deputy Chief of the MPS Office Senior Colonel Trinh Khac Cuong, conducted an on-site inspection of all working aspects of the local police and the implementation of the 2025 targets of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department.

At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Do Duc Trinh presented a summary report on the unit’s all working  areas from the beginning of the year.

According to the report, under the close and comprehensive leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the MPS leadership and the Bac Ninh authorities, the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department had taken synchronous measures to firmly maintain political security and social order and safety, while effectively supporting the province’s socio-economic development and foreign affairs.

After hearing other opinions from members of the inspection delegation and leaders of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung and Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai praised the police department and the local police for their achievements in recent times, particularly their deployment of the two-tier local government model.

In the time ahead, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department and the local police to promptly overcome their shortcomings and limitations pointed out by delegates during the inspection, while effectively performing key tasks and solutions across all areas of work.

He also emphasized the need for the provincial police to continue closely following the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Public Security Central Party Committee, the MPS leadership and the Bac Ninh provincial authorities on public security work.

He further urged the unit to effectively implement Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo on building truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces, meeting the forces’ task requirements and missions in the new situation, stressing that this work should be considered a central task in the coming period.
