Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the ceremony.
Over the past 80 years of its development, the Public Security Advisory Force has recorded numerous remarkable achievements. Through different revolutionary periods, in both wartime and peacetime, the force has consistently played a core role and held a particularly important position in all aspects of public security work, serving as the “second brain” and “extended arm” of leaders and commanders at all levels.
At the ceremony, the MPS leadership honored 80 units and officers of the Public Security Advisory Force for their outstanding professional achievements.
On this occasion, leaders of the MPS Office also presented gifts and expressed gratitude to former leaders of the MPS Office in different periods of time, who had made significant contributions to the building and development of the force.
Addressing the event, Minister Luong Tam Quang, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS leadership, commended and highly appreciated the achievements and dedication of the Public Security Advisory Force over the past eight decades, while congratulating the honored officers.
He emphasized that advisory work is a specialized field requiring high intellectual capacity, professional expertise and a strong sense of responsibility, given its complex and demanding nature.
According to the Minister, good advice helps the leadership give timely and accurate responses to security situations, contributing to improving the quality of the overall work of the entire Public Security Forces and proactively addressing potential risks related to security and order while providing better services to the people.
Minister Luong Tam Quang requested Party committees and heads of public security units and agencies at all levels to continue paying attention to training and developing the advisory force, creating favorable conditions for staff officers to fulfill their tasks successfully.
He expressed confidence that the Public Security Advisory Force will continue to bring into full play its proud traditions, make greater contributions to the achievements of the People’s Public Security Forces and remain worthy of the trust of the Party, the State and the people.
