At the meeting, Ms. Clotilde, head of the facility, briefed the guests on the center and its operation. She expressed sincere appreciation to the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security for its meaningful assistance to the children, contributing to improving their daily lives and education.
Moved by the difficulties faced by the orphans, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung extended his compassion and presented gifts, including school supplies, essential items and financial assistance, with the hope of improving their living conditions and encouraging them to continue their study for a brighter future.
On this occasion, the Deputy Minister also expressed his gratitude to the United Nations Women’s Network at MINUSCA for its support in facilitating the Vietnamese delegation’s visit.
On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, he handed the gifts to the children, talked to them about the importance of education, and encouraged them to move forward despite current difficulties. He suggested, the children inspire one another and become responsible members of society, while always remembering the slogan “Study, study more, study forever.”
Their visit to the orphanage reflected the tradition of compassion and international responsibility of the Vietnamese people. The Vietnamese delegation’s gifts were not only practical assistance to the disadvantaged children, but also served as a great source of encouragement for them, helping them have more hope, confidence and motivation for a better future.
