
MPS reviews youth affairs in 2025
The Public Security Youth Affairs Board convened a meeting to review youth affairs in the Public Security Forces in 2025, on the morning of January 7, in Hanoi.

The meeting saw the presence of Permanent Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Vietnam National Union of Students Nguyen Minh Triet and Director of the Department of Political Affairs under the Ministry of Public Security Major General Pham Kim Dinh.
Head of the Public Security Youth Affairs Board Colonel Dong Duc Vu chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, delegates reviewed the results of Youth Union activities and the youth movement in the Public Security Forces in 2025 and pointed out strengths as well as shortcomings and limitations in areas all aspects of work.
They also exchanged views on effective and innovative models and approaches, discussed solutions to successfully implement the Youth Union work program and promote the youth movement launched by the Ministry of Public Security in 2026.
According to reports, Youth Union organizations of public security units and agencies at all levels proactively overcame difficulties, introduced numerous innovations and creative approaches in terms of organization, while successfully fulfilling the targets and tasks set out in the Youth Union and youth movement program, yielding notable outcomes, in 2025.
Addressing the meeting, Major General Pham Kim Dinh commended Youth Union organizations of public security and agencies at all levels on the achievements and results in 2025.
The Director requested that Youth Union organizations and youth members in the Public Security Forces thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Resolution of the upcoming 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Organization and relevant resolutions and plans on building the Public Security Forces in the new situation.
He emphasized the importance of applying science and technology and digital transformation to enhance the effectiveness of studying and disseminating Party and Youth Union resolutions so that Youth Union chapters in the Public Security Forces can swiftly translate them into practical activities, work and daily life of young people.
He also called on youth members to take the lead and set an example in implementing the emulation movement “Three Bests: Most Disciplined – Most Loyal – Closest to the People” launched by the Ministry of Public Security.
On behalf of the Public Security Youth Affairs Board, Colonel Dong Duc Vu required the organizing board to summarize the remarks by the Director of the Political Affairs Department as well as the opinions of delegates and then translate them into specific tasks and solutions so as to enhance the effectiveness of youth-related work in 2026 and subsequent years of the 2025–2030 term.
