MPS to enhance effectiveness of legal affairs work

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a scientific conference on the morning of September 22 in Hue City to discuss enhancing the quality of legal affairs work in support of building clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces capable of meeting task requirements in the new situation.

In his opening remarks, Lieutenant General Pham Cong Nguyen noted that in recent years, under the sound leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS leadership, legal affairs work within the Public Security Forces has achieved significant results.

The legal framework on security and order has been consistently consolidated and improved, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of state management and providing a solid legal foundation for the operations of the forces.

At the conference, delegates from various public security units and agencies presented papers, shared practical experiences and proposed approaches to further improve the quality of legal affairs work.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Pham Cong Nguyen emphasized that it served as a scientific forum to comprehensively and objectively review the current state of legal affairs work, analyze advantages, difficulties and challenges, as well as clarify new requirements in the coming time.

He underlined that the feasible and breakthrough solutions proposed by delegates would contribute significantly to building clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces.

* On the same day, the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative–Judicial Reforms, in coordination with the Hue City Police Department, opened a training course for officers in charge of legal affairs and administrative–judicial reforms from public security units and agencies.
