
Public Security Central Party Committee reviews implementation of mass mobilization regulation
A delegation of the Steering Committee for the project to amend and supplement Decision No. 23-QD/TW dated July 30, 2021 of the Politburo promulgating the Regulation on Mass Mobilization Work of the Political System (Regulation No. 23) held a working session with the Public Security Central Party Committee to review the implementation of the Regulation within the Public Security Central Party Committee on June 25, in Hanoi.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen worked with the delegation.
According to a report presented at the session, the Public Security Central Party Committee has directed its affiliated Party organizations to seriously, innovatively and effectively implement Regulation No. 23 throughout the Public Security Central Party Organization and the entire Public Security Forces, over the past time.

As a result, mass mobilization work within the Public Security Forces has effectively mobilized the combined strength of the entire political system, contributed to consolidating the all-people national security posture and further strengthened the people's trust in the Party, the State and the Public Security Forces.
Addressing the session, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Communications, Education and Mass Mobilization Pham Tat Thang highly commended the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security for the comprehensive leadership and direction of the Public Security Forces in implementing Regulation No. 23, making mass mobilization work a regular task closely associated with the functions and duties of the Public Security Forces.
He noted that the delegation highly valued the recommendations and proposals made by leaders of units under the Ministry of Public Security regarding the development of a new regulation to replace Regulation No. 23, ensuring that it meets the requirements of mass mobilization work in the new situation.
For his part, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen expressed his sincere appreciation to the Central Commission for Communications, Education and Mass Mobilization for its close coordination with the Ministry of Public Security across various fields of work.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that mobilizing the people to participate in safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety is a fundamental and regular responsibility of every public security officer.
He added that numerous effective mass mobilization models and initiatives have been developed and replicated, with the Public Security Forces shifting from traditional approaches to promoting public participation in cyberspace, thereby mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system and the people to join the Public Security Forces in safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety.
Based on the delegation's recommendations, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested relevant units under the Ministry to continue closely coordinating with the Steering Committee and actively contribute comments during the process of drafting the new regulation.
