Forces under Ministry of Public Security strengthen entry and exit management on Northern border
MPS - The Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department organized a professional consultation reviewing the results of the fight against illegal entry and exit through the Northern borderline from 2021 to present, on the morning of July 21, 2023, in Lao Cai.

Speaking at the meeting, representatives of the underministerial agencies and local units assessed and analyzed the situation, discussed the results, limitations and their causes, and drew lessons from the task performances of units.
Delegates also forecasted the situation, trends and proposed solutions to prevent and control illegal immigration in the coming time.

In order to ensure the effectiveness of the fight against illegal entry and exit across the Northern borderline in the coming time, Director of the Immigration Department Major General Pham Dang Khoa suggested that agencies and units should continue to advise local Party committees, local authorities and the Ministry's leadersship on overall solutions, including comprehensive law dissemination programs, integrated social and professional preventive measures, and coordination among relevant forces as well as between immigration management forces of Vietnam and neighboring countries.
