Police from Son La (Vietnam), Hua Phan (Laos) agree to strengthen coordination

The Lao police delegation was led by Deputy Director of the Hua Phan Provincial Public Security Department Colonel Óm Phon Phan Ma Chan while Deputy Director of the Son La Provincial Police Department was Senior Colonel Tran Thanh Son.
 

Representatives from Son La Provincial Police Department and Hua Phan Provincial Public Security Department sign a memorandum of cooperation.

At the conference, representatives of the two sides reported on the reults of their coordination in ensuring security, order and border security in 2023.

Regarding plans for cooperation in the coming time, they agreed to regularly exchange information on the situation of security along the borderline as well as information about cross-border crime, and coordinate in drawing up plans for cooperation in the last 4 months of the year as well as jointly conduct surveys on complex border sections regarding political security.

On this occasion, the Foreign Security Office and the Security Investigation Office of the Son La Provincial Police Department offered 2 sets of computers to the Hua Phan Provincial Public Security Department.

At the end of the conference, representatives of the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation plans between the two sides in the future.
