Vietnam, China boost cooperation in public security

MPS - Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To hosted a reception for Vice Governor and Head of the Public Security Bureau of Shaanxi province, China Dai Binbin on the afternoon of March 24, in Hanoi.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To underlined that the Vietnam–China relationship is in a period of positive and comprehensive development, and the thriving relationship is vividly reflected by regular high-level delegation exchanges and the efficient implementation of important bilateral mechanisms, including the Inter-Parliamentary Exchange Mechanism and the Security-Political Dialogue.

The Deputy Minister also highlighted that cooperation between localities of the two countries and people-to-people exchange between various sectors of the two sides is on the rise and at different levels.

The host noted that the positive outcomes vividly demonstrated that the two countries’ Party and State leaders had had much concern and attached much importance to strengthening and further deepening the Vietnam–China bilateral relationship.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To stressed that the visit of Mr. Dai Binbin and the delegation of the Shaanxi Provincial Public Security Bureau to Vietnam was a meaningful activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and once again reflected the increasingly close, practical and effective cooperation between the two countries’ Ministries of Public Security.

The host expressed his belief that the Chinese delegation’s visit would further strengthen comprehensive exchange and collaboration between the two countries’ public security forces, contributing to maintaining social order and safety in each country.

Sincerely thanking Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To and the Vietnam’s MPS for the warm reception, Head of the Public Security Bureau of Shaanxi Dai Binbin expressed his delight at visiting Vietnam, a country with rich culture, long-standing history and friendly, hospitable people, noting that Vietnam is one of China’s most important partners in the region.

The Chinese official stated that the visit provided a valuable opportunity for both sides to enhance mutual understanding and share experiences in ensuring security and social order, contributing to tightening the ties between the two countries’ public security forces.

The guest also said, the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department has opened a new chapter in local-level cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. Dai Binbin pledged that the Public Security Bureau of Shaanxi province will work closely with Vietnamese partners to realize high-level agreements between the two countries’ top leaders, contributing to building a stable, long-term and robust Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
