According to reports presented at the working session, during the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 academic years, the Southern affiliate of the People’s Security College I trained 517 full-time students and organized 20 refresher courses for 1,228 police officers, effectively meeting the requirements for building capacity of team-level leaders and police officers of the grassroots police forces in southern provinces and cities.

Additionally, the Southern affiliate opened nine training courses for a total of 204 officials from the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Agreeing with the key tasks set forth by the college, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested that the institution continue to focus on Party building and force building, make thorough preparations for the congress of all Party affiliates of the college’s Party Committee, effectively manage its staff and Party members, and further promote internal solidarity.
The Deputy Minister also urged the school to renovate its educational and training program, especially updating curricula, teaching materials and methodologies, linking theory with practice and improving the system of textbooks and reference materials.

He further emphasized the need to build and develop a team of lecturers and education managers capable of fulfilling educational duties in the new situation, while promoting the application of science, technology and digital transformation in research, teaching and learning.
