Earlier on February 21, the local investigation police arrested Bui Anh Thuong (born in 1972, residing in Nam Dinh province, former offenders charged with property theft and illegal storage of drugs) while he was transporting 17 heroin bars concealed in his luggage on a train from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.
Senior Colonel Khuong Duy Oanh, Deputy Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department recognized and praised the outstanding achievements of the local investigation police officers and soldiers.
The Deputy Director asked the local investigation police force to enhance the implementation of professional measures to proactively fight drug-related criminal lines and eradicate drug-related hotspots.
