Over the past five years, the Dien Bien Phu city police have promptly developed and implemented various preventive plans against crimes. They have eradicated a number of hotspots with complex security issues, while effectively fighting sabotage activities of hostile and reactionary forces, contributing to maintaining grassroots-level security and social order.
Particularly, they launched various intensive campaigns to crack down on crimes, including economic and drug-related crimes, in which successfully investigating 362 out of 412 criminal cases.
Furthermore, the Dien Bien Phu city police forces paid due attention to administrative reforms and administrative procedure management. In particular, the local police officers have issued 4,526 identity cards for people in a timely manner while completing 81,588 population census statements.
With their outstanding achievements, over the past five years, the Dien Bien Phu city police were honored and awarded by authorities at all levels.
