Chief Inspector of the MPS Inspectorate Major General Bui Quang Thanh chaired the session.
In the first six months of 2025, the Ministry Inspectorate was proactive and active in advising on and drafting legal documents, directives and guidance, contributing to completing a coherent and robust legal framework for inspection work across the Public Security Forces.

The Inspectorate also effectively fulfilled its core responsibilities regarding inspection, reception and resolution of citizens’ complaints and denunciations, as well as the prevention and control of corruption and misconduct in accordance with legal regulations.
Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS leadership, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To congratulated the Ministry Inspectorate on its notable achievements during the first half of the year.
Regarding key tasks for the second half, the Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of Party building and force building, stressing that the Inspectorate should consider this work as “the core of all core tasks.”

He urged the Inspectorate’s leadership to focus on successfully organizing its Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, ensuring that all candidates for the next-term Party Executive Committee are politically steadfast, intellectually capable, morally upright, competent and reputable so as to meet the growing demands for tasks in the new context.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also suggested imposing strict discipline and effectively implementing the directives of the Party Central Committee and the Public Security Central Party Committee on power control and anti-corruption within the Inspectorate.
Finally, he requested the MPS Inspectorate to enhance the quality and efficiency of reception and the handling of citizens’ complaints and denunciations in accordance with legal provisions, while providing timely guidance and support to provincial-level police departments in performing their functions and tasks according the new two-tier local governance model and the new administrative boundary changes.
