Reporting to the General Secretary, Director of the Department of Internal Political Security Lieutenant General Dinh Van Noi stated that under the sound leadership of the Party, the State, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS leadership, the Department has continuously renovated its operational mindset, methods and strategies, while maintaining close coordination with relevant agencies inside and outside the Public Security Forces to effectively fulfill all assigned tasks, contributing to effectively implementing the Party’s strategic policies and fostering a secure environment for national socio-economic development, national defence and security.

Addressing the meeting, General Secretary To Lam acknowledged, highly appreciated and praised the Department of Internal Political Security and the Internal Political Security Force as a whole for their the remarkable achievements over the years.
Regarding key directions for the time ahead, General Secretary To Lam stressed the need for the Internal Political Security Force to continue renewing its mindset and operational approach to effectively safeguard internal political security, noting that, in addition to addressing traditional security challenges, the force must enhance its capacity to monitor and protect the implementation of the Party’s new strategic policies.

Additionally, the force should early detect and promptly address potential risks and signs of division in the two-tier local government system.
The General Secretary believed that, with their proud traditions and a strong sense of responsibility, creativity and dedication, the Public Security Forces in general and the Internal Political Security Force in particular will continue to successfully accomplish all the missions entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.
