“Students with the Hanoi Convention” contest successfully concludes

MPS - The National Cybersecurity Association held a closing ceremony to announce the results and present awards to the winners of the “Students with the Hanoi Convention” contest, on the morning of June 30 in Hanoi.

Organized by the National Cybersecurity Association, the contest ran from May 21 to June 20, 2025.

Participants were provided with reference materials on the Hanoi Convention in both video and text forms, and were required to complete an online multiple-choice quiz comprising 15 questions related to the convention and relevant cybersecurity legislation.

The contest aimed to raise students’ awareness of observing the Hanoi Convention, an important international treaty on combating cybercrime and the first of its kind to be opened for signatures in Vietnam.

During one month, students nationwide  participated enthusiastically in the contest, the contest organizer received as many as 33,136 entries from students, who are studying at 156 universities and colleges.

According to the final results announced by the organizing panel, the First Prize was awarded to a student from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, the Second Prize went to a student from the People's Security Academy and the Third Prize was presented to a student from Duy Tan University.

Additionally, 20 Consolation Prizes were awarded to other outstanding participants in recognition of their commendable efforts and performance.

Following the success of the “Students with the Hanoi Convention” contest, the National Cybersecurity Association also announced plans to collaborate with the Department of Cybersecurity and Hi-tech Crimes under the Ministry of Public Security to organize the “Students’ Responsibility for Cybersecurity Competition 2025” in the near future.
