Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department opens cyber security training course for police leaders.

The People’s Security Academy in coordination with the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department opened a training course on cyber security and high-tech crime prevention and control for police leaders of subordinate units and agencies of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department, on November 25th, 2024.
The opening ceremony saw the presence of Deputy Director of the People’s Security Academy Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Thiet and Deputy Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Huynh Van Thinh.
The training course, scheduled from November 25th to December 3rd, is attended by 264 trainees who are leaders of local police units and agencies.
During the training course, participants will be trained by experienced lecturers in specific topics, including the Party’s viewpoints, the State’s laws and policies on high-tech crime prevention and control, the coordination between involved forces in preventing and combating high-tech crime, the domestic and international cyber security situation and state secret protection in cyberspace.

The lecturers also provide the trainees with methods and tricks of cyber crime and high-tech crime, cyber security risks, as well as knowledge on artificial intelligence, while building capacity of the officer-in-charge in ensuring cyber security.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Thiet and Senior Colonel Huynh Van Thinh requested all the trainees to strictly follow all the rules of the training course and strive to grasp the knowledge provided by lecturers, wishing that they would effectively apply their learned knowledge and skills to their practical work of ensuring cyber security and preventing and combating high-tech crime.
