Director of the Traffic Police Department Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Trung chaired the ceremony.
Over the past five years, under the leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, the emulation movement among the Traffic Police Force has developed in both width and depth.
During the emulation movement, the Traffic Police Force focused on surmounting its weaknesses, solving difficult issues and fulfilling its main political tasks.

The department also launched a number of emulation drives with creative forms and plentiful contents, which really inspired traffic officers and enlistees nationwide to overcome difficulties and excellently fulfill all of their assigned missions.
Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Trung praised the typical exemplary officers and units for their outstanding achievements in the “For National Security” emulation movement in 2021 – 2025 period.
To further the emulation movement in the upcoming period, the Director of the Traffic Police Department called on Party committees and leaders across the Traffic Police Force to enhance political and ideological education in their units, encourage traffic police officers to regularly improve professional knowledge and expertise, as well as thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party’s policies, the State’s laws and the Ministry’s instructions.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Trung requested the force to participate actively and effectively in special emulation movements in celebration of major anniversaries, including the 80th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces, the 20th anniversary of the “All People Protecting National Security” Festival and the 80th founding anniversary of the Traffic Police Force.
The Director also instructed traffic police units across the country to effectively enforce the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety as well as relevant legal documents on traffic safety, while working closely with relevant agencies to investigate and strictly penalize all traffic violations, particularly those directly causing traffic accidents, with the aim of reducing the number of traffic accidents, as well as the number of fatalities and injuries in traffic cases.
On the occasion, the Department of Traffic Police honored 9 units and 50 officers who had achieved outstanding achievements in the “For National Security” emulation movement in the 2021-2025 period.
