Earlier, the Criminal Police Office under the Provincial Police of Bac Lieu on August 25 presented 50 gifts, including 1,000 notebooks and 50 schoolbags, worth some VND 10 million, to poor students with outstanding academic results at Le Van Tam Primary School, Vinh Hung commune, VinhLoi district.
On the same day, the Youth Union chapter and the Women’s organization of Bac Lieu city’s police mobilized donors to present 100 gifts, worth VND 40 million, supporting poor students in Vinh Trach commune, Vinh Trach Dong district.
The Professional Techniques Office under the Provincial Police Department of Bac Lieu on August 21 visited and presented 400 gifts, worth VND 37 million, to poor students of Luu Huu Phuoc and Nguyen Binh Primary Schools, Ninh Hoa commune, and Truong Van An Primary School, Ninh Quoi Secondary School, Ninh Quoi A commune, Hong Dan district. Earlier, local police officers had raised fund to buy the gifts for the children.
The Environmental Police Office under the Bac Lieu Provincial Police Department coordinated with the youths of ward 1, Bac Lieu city, to present 90 gifts to poor students at Le Thi Cam Le Secondary School and Le Van Tam Primary School, and 13 gifts, worth over VND 14 million, to poor households in the area.
