Ca Mau police repair “Home of Compassion” for family of fallen public security officer

MPS - In gratitude to families with meritorious services to the revolutionary cause, the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department held a ceremony to hand over a repaired “Home of Compassion” to family of a fallen public security officer, on December 16th, 2024.

After nearly two months of being repaired, the house has been put into use.

The funding for the housing repair came basically from the Public Security Comradeship Fund while the remainder was provided by the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department.

At the ceremony, delegates handed over the “Home of Compassion” to Mr. Huynh Van Ut, residing in O Ro village, Tan An commune, Ngoc Hien district.

Mr. Ut is a younger brother of fallen public security officer Huynh Van Duoc, and he is also a wounded public security veteran.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ut sincerely thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Board of Director of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department and the local authority for their support for his family in repairing their downgraded house, and said that they would strive to work hard and develop their family economy to have a better life.

The program to repair homes for families with meritorious service to the revolutionary launched by the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department aimed to effectively implement the project on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Ca Mau province by 2025 as well as the “Joint Efforts to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses Nationwide” emulation movement launched respectively by by the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee and the Government.
