October, 07 2024
MPS - From October 5th to October 6th, district-level police stations in Ha Nam simultaneously carried out a program on fire safety regulations and rescue skills for local school teachers and students.

During the program, local police officers provided local teachers and students with fire safety regulations, firefighting and rescue skills as well as demonstrated firefighting equipment, tools and vehicles of the fire and rescue police force, such as modern firetrucks, foam nozzles and rope pulley systems.

Notably, fire and rescue police officers gave students a chance to practice firefighting and rescue skills in specific situations, such as rescuing victims from high-rise buildings with the use of air cushions, ladder trucks, slow-lowering rope systems and inclined rope bridges, as well as training them in using extinguishers to put out fire caused by gas leaks.

The program aimed to improve local teachers and students’ awareness of fire prevention, fire safety regulations as well as life-saving skills in emergency situations.

It also helped them to know what to do when facing dangerous fire and explosion incidents, contributing to minimizing the number of fire cases as well as reducing human and material losses caused by fire explosions at schools and their homes.

On the occasion, the Phu Ly City Former Public Security Officers Association presented 10 fire extinguishers to the Tran Hung Dao Kindergarten and Primary School in the city.
