Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department launches voluntary blood donation drive

Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh requested that the Youth Union chapter and the Women’s Union chapter of the police department should further promote their pioneering role in the voluntary blood donation movement, and continue to launch more voluntary blood donation programs to ensure a regular blood supply for patients in need at hospitals nationwide, especially patients who are public security officers.

At the event, police officers and enlistees of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department donated 168 units of blood in total, which will be transferred to the live blood bank of the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center under the Hospital 19/8 to support the treatment for patients in need of blood.
