MPS - In response to Mangkhut typhoon, police units of Northern provinces had deployed forces to key areas to ensure security and order and help local people harvest their crops.

On September 15, Police of Huong Son (Ha Tinh) sent a large number of officers and soldiers to communes to help local people harvest their rice crops. Earlier, when typhoon Mangkhut was entering the East Sea (South China Sea), the local people of Huong Son were in a hurry to harvest some 700 hectares of rice before the storm would come.

The police officers and soldiers helped local people harvest tens of hectares of rice despite extreme hot weather.

Additionally, following the direction of the Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department, the Huong Son District Police Station also deployed forces to key places to ensure security and order, be ready to evacuate local people upon request, and ensure traffic order and safety, especially in various wharfs.

The support activities and efforts of the police officers of Huong Son left a good impression on the people, contributing to consolidating the relations and solidarity between the police and people.
