Police of Kon Tum organize early Full-Moon Festival for ethnic children
MPS - In the build-up to the Full-Moon Festival, the Youth Union chapter of the Kon Tum Provincial Police and the Party and Political Work Office of the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Municipal Police hosted a Full-Moon party for ethnic children in Dak Blo commune, Dak Glei district, Kon Tum.

614 ethnic children (300 of the Gie Trieng ethnic group and 314 others of the Bahnar ethnic group, from Kon Klor village) came to the party, where they were presented with gifts, including lanterns, candies, warm coats as well as participated in various traditional games. The police charitable team also took the chance to explain the harms of drugs to primary school’s children and presented books to the libraries of the commune’s schools. On this occasion, the young police officers also built a water filtering system with the capacity of 1,000 litters/day. Additionally, they presented 170 gifts, worth some VND 120 million donated by police officers and donors, to poor people in the commune.
