Soc Trang police build “Homes of Comradeship” for disadvantaged officers

The program to support disadvantaged police officers to rebuild or repair their homes is named “Homes of Comradeship”.

Deputy Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Pham Quoc Viet chaired the ceremony.

In a timely effort to support officers and families of fallen public security personnel facing housing difficulties, the Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police Department had decided to provide each of the 11 officers with housing difficulty and families of fallen officers with 150 million VND to rebuild their home or 70 million VND to repair their home.

The funding was drawn from the People's Public Security Comradeship Fund.

The social initiative was part of the Soc Trang Provincial Police Department’s activities in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces.

At the ceremony, Senior Colonel Pham Quoc Viet presented the funding and extended his congratulations to the 11 beneficiary officers and families of fallen officers.

Senior Colonel Pham Quoc Viet affirmed that the policy of providing financial support for disadvantaged public security officers or families of fallen officers with housing difficulty is a meaningful initiative that reflects the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance within the Soc Trang Police Force.

He said, the initiative aims to help disadvantaged officers stabilize their lives and give them peace of mind so that they can dedicate more energy and mind to work.

He expressed his hope that the beneficiary officers with their solid houses will better serve the Public Security Forces and the people, as well as fulfill their assigned tasks contributing to ensuring security and social order in the locality.
