During the program, local police officers provided fire prevention regulations and firefighting and rescue skills, particularly in scenarios involving fires or explosions in residential areas, workplaces, dormitories and other densely populated locations.
In addition, students were explained about basic operational functions of specialized firefighting and rescue vehicles, including fire trucks, ladder trucks, and emergency response vehicles.

Students also had chance to practice using fire extinguishers to extinguish fire due to gas leaks, using concentrated water nozzles to put out a large fire, escaping from smoke-filled environments and moving down on an aerial ladder truck.
The program aimed to raise local teachers and students’ awareness of observing fire prevention and fire safety regulations as well as to equip them with vital life-saving skills.
Via the program, the police called on schools and communities to join their efforts to prevent and fight fire as well as promote the “All People Participating in Fire Prevention and Fighting” movement.
