Earlier, while on his way to pick up his child from school in Bac Dam Vac Urban Area, Dong Da Ward, Vinh Yen City, Lieutenant Colonel Do Quang Minh discovered a wallet on the road containing 7.1 million VND, a Sinhanbank credit card and several personal identification documents with a foreign name.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Quang Minh had sought to contact the owner of the lost items through several phone numbers found in the wallet while reporting the found items to the Dong Da Ward Police Post and asking the local police to find the foreigner with his name on the documents.

After a short time, Lieutenant Colonel Do Quang Minh and the Dong Da Ward Police Post verified that the wallet belonged to Mr. Kim Sun Jin, born in 1975, a South Korean citizen currently working in the Khai Quang Industrial Park, Vinh Yen City.
They promptly invited Mr. Kim Sun Jin to the Dong Da Ward Police Post to get his belongings back.
At the Dong Da Ward Police Post, Lieutenant Colonel Do Quang Minh, together with on-duty officers, handed over the lost items to Mr. Kim Sun Jin.
Moved by the enthusiasm and responsibility of the Vietnamese police, Mr. Kim Sun Jin sent a letter of thanks to the Director of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department on January 12th, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the good deed of the Vinh Phuc police officers.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Quang Minh's action has left a positive impression of Vietnam and its people on international friends, contributing to building the image of the country as a wonderful destination in the eyes of the international community.
