MPS - Heavy rains have ceased for more than a week in Northern Vietnam but flooding still remains in Northern parts of Vietnam, badly affecting many households in Chuong My district, Hanoi.

Following the national tradition "The good leaves protect the worn-out leaves", the Youth Union chapter of the People’s Police School in collaboration with the Youth Union chapter of the Hanoi Municipal Police and Chuong My District Police visited local families whose homes are still submerged and isolated by the recent flooding, in Nam Phuong Tien commune.

The charitable mission had to boat packs of necessaries to every local family in the flooded zones in Chuong My.

Captain Vu Huong Loc, Secretary of the Youth Union chapter of the People’s Police School said: “Although these gifts are small but this shows the sincere empathy and care of Public Security Youth for local people, sharing with them the difficulties and losses with the hope that they would soon restore their lives and work.”
