Youths of Soc Trang Police plant coastal protection forests

MPS - The youth of the Soc Trang Provincial Police on August 15 coordinated with the Youth Union Chapter of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Forestry Division of Soc Trang to plant coastal protection forests in Lac Hoa commune, Vinh Chau town, Soc Trang.

 

Youths of various units participate in the forest planting program.


The youths planted some 2,000 mangroves in some 2 hectares of alluvial soil in Lac Hoa commune. Youths of the Provincial Police of Soc Trang have been planting and protecting local coastal forests for many years. Their practical meaningful program has improved the quality and quantity of the coastal prevention forests and contributing to adapting to climate change.
 



The youths of Soc Trang Police join hands in planting more trees in coastal prevention forests.


Captain Dang Van Phuong, Secretary of the Soc Trang Police Youth Union Chapter said that the planting of coastal protection forests has widely been disseminated among local young police officers and people with the aim of raising their awareness of the significance of mangrove forests and in support of many poor coastal households to improve their lives.
