Minister Luong Tam Quang hosts meeting with children of Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ officials

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou also attended the meeting.

Warmly welcoming the delegation of Belarusian children to Vietnam, Minister Luong Tam Quang said that he had directed relevant under-ministerial police agencies and local police departments to take good care of the delegation so that the Belarusian children can feel home from home during their visit to Vietnam.

The Minister emphasized that the officers’ children exchange program between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus has become a fine annual tradition of profound humanitarian significance, adding that it vividly reflects the noble principle of “When drinking water, remember its source” cherished by both nations when it offers an interesting trip to children of the officers of the two sides who selflessly contributed to safeguarding social order and ensuring a peaceful life for people of each country.

Knowing that the delegation had visited several local tourist attractions in Vietnam, Minister Luong Tam Quang underlined that the trip was a valuable opportunity for the Belarusian children to experience and enjoy the natural beauty, gain insights into Vietnamese culture, and feel the warm affection and hospitality of the Vietnamese people.

Speaking at the meeting, Belarusian Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou sincerely thanked Minister Luong Tam Quang and MPS for their good sentiments and care for the Belarusian delegation, saying that delegation exchange activities between MPS and the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs demonstrates the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two ministries in particular and the two countries in general.

At the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang presented gifts to Belarusian children, wishing them a memorable trip to Vietnam and lots of energy to begin the new school year when returning to home.

The host also hoped that Belarusian children will continue to inherit and promote the good traditions of their families and country.
