They also pledged to actively exchange information and practical experience in criminal investigation, extradition and fugitive tracking, while joining efforts to combat transnational organized crime, cybercrime, terrorism, drug trafficking and human trafficking.
The two ministers agreed to expand training cooperation and hold personnel exchange programs between law enforcement agencies to enhance their capacity to combat cyber-enabled crimes, as well as to frequently have consultations and support each other at international forums, especially in implementing the Hanoi Convention, thereby contributing to consolidating the role and voice of developing countries in the global cybersecurity landscape.

Kubayi affirmed that the meeting and the Hanoi Convention Signing Ceremony marked a new chapter in cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Development of South Africa, in combating cybercrime, as well as boosted the bilateral cooperation in broader areas for the sake of peace, stability and prosperity in each country, as well as in Asia and Africa.
