In his opening remarks, Deputy Chief of the MPS Office Senior Colonel Mai Xuan Thao underscored that advisory work plays a particularly important role in the leadership, command and management systems of the Public Security Forces.

He highlighted that, over the past 79 years, the Public Security Staff Force has always excellently fulfilled its tasks, contributing to firmly safeguarding national security and ensuring social order and safety, as well as to upholding the tradition of “Loyalty and Dedication; Wisdom and Innovation; Solidarity and Accomplishment.”
Since 2013, the MPS has organized nine nationwide training courses for advisory officers. This year’s course brings together nearly 200 officers, including leaders of advisory divisions of under-ministerial departments as well as provincial-level police departments.

Participants will study specialized subjects on advisory work in the Public Security Forces and listen to leaders and lecturers’ hands-on experiences and practical methods to improve the effectiveness of information analysis and processing, directly facilitating strategic advisory work for the mission of safeguarding national security in the new situation.
The course also includes seminars and field trips designed to promote professional exchange among advisory officers.
It will run to October 3, 2025.
