The beneficiary is Nguyen Van Duong, born in 2013, a 7th-grade student at Chu Van An Secondary School. He is the second child of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Oanh, a resident of Lien Dong village, Thanh Son commune.
Since the early passing of her husband, Ms. Oanh has been the sole breadwinner in the family, working as a day laborer to raise three school-aged children and care for her ailing mother-in-law. The family has long been classified as poor and has faced severe hardship.

Local police officially adopt Nguyen Van Duong.
Sympathizing with the widow’s difficulties, the Thanh Son Communal Police Station decided to adopt Nguyen Van Duong under the program.
Starting from August 2025, police officers of the unit donate part of their salaries to support him with one million VND per month. The local police will continue supporting Duong until he completes high school.
The “Adopted Child of the Communal Police” model implemented by the Thanh Son Communal Police Station demonstrates the compassion and social responsibility of the Public Security Forces in general to the community, and also reflects the spirit of “Wherever people are in need, the Public Security Forces are there".
