At the session, speakers who are senior police officers provided teachers and students with the current situation as well as the methods and tricks used by human trafficking offenders, particularly the tactic used by criminals on social platforms to lure people with their offers “easy jobs, high pay,” to illegally carry out labor export.
Participants were also provided with skills to identify risks, and to take preventive measures and appropriate responses when detecting or suspecting human trafficking activities online.
Through direct exchanges and Q&A interactions, students could improve their awareness and vigilance against human trafficking, thereby proactively protecting themselves from being victims of the crime and providing information on human trafficking prevention and control to their families and communities.
The activity helped promote the role of schools in legal education and contribute to building a safe and healthy educational environment, while strengthening coordination between the Public Security Forces and the education sector in ensuring security and order in the locality.
On this occasion, the MPS Office presented three interactive touch-screen equipment sets, enabling televisions to function as multi-touch displays, to Minh Tan Semi-Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities and offered gifts to five disadvantaged students at the school.
