
Public Security Central Party Committee and Central Inspection Commission review coordination regulation
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang and Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Sy Thanh co-chaired a meeting to evaluate the results of the two agencies’ coordination in executing Party inspection, supervision and discipline, on the afternoon of May 4 in Hanoi.

Presenting a summary report at the meeting, Member of the Central Inspection Commission Hoang Cong Huan stated that the two sides had coordinated to implement the work in a thorough and effective manner for the past 14 years, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement in the Public Security Forces.
During the time, the two sides also teamed up to advise the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat to issue, amend and supplement regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Additionally, the two sides often consulted each other about personnel work and to support personnel verification, inspection and disciplinary enforcement by providing documents for each other.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Sy Thanh highly appreciated the coordination results achieved in recent years.
Agreeing with delegates’ proposals to amend and supplement the regulation, he requested relevant units to promptly study and draft a new coordination regulation, saying that the regulation should reflect updated Party perceptions on inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement, as well as the expanded mandates of inspection commissions at all levels.
In his remarks, Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that, under the leadership of the Party, the effective coordination between the two agencies has made an important contribution to building clean, strong, disciplined and orderly Public Security Forces, as well as to ensuring the effective implementation of the Party Central Committee’s resolutions and conclusions on Party building and rectification.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his appreciation to the Central Inspection Commission for its close and effective coordination in the past time, and voiced his expectation for even stronger coordination in the time ahead.
