Security protection and transportation plans for 14th National Party Congress completed

Member of the Politburo and Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, Head of the Subcommittee in charge of the organization of the 14th National Party Congress, presided over the final rehearsal of all organization work for the congress on January 14, 2026.

Present at the rehearsal were Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; members of the organising sub-committee of the 14th National Party Congress; and representatives of ministries, agencies and Hanoi city.

Representing the Ministry of Public Security at the event were Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Head of the Security and Order Subcommittee for the 14th National Party Congress.

In the morning, the delegation paid a visit to the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and laid flowers in remembrance of heroic fallen soldiers. The delegation then inspected and reviewed the transportation plan; the security and safety plan; medical services, the protocol plan, and logistics; as well as the plan to transport domestic and international delegations.

At the National Convention Center, the official venue of the 14th National Party Congress, leaders of ministries, agencies and relevant forces reported on the results of their assigned tasks and put forward recommendations to further refine preparations for the organization of the upcoming 14th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung stated that the rehearsal demonstrated that all security and safety plans for the 14th National Party Congress had been deployed in a synchronous, timely and efficient manner in line with the approved scheme. The plan to transport delegations were carried out safely and smoothly. At the National Convention Center, relevant forces worked closely together in ensuring the smooth operation of systems as well as absolute security and security of every delegation.

Deputy Minister Hung highlighted that all mistakes pointed out at the preliminary rehearsal on January 13 had completely been fixed. The high-ranking officer pledged, the Public Security Forces will continue to deploy additional, synchronized security and order plans to ensure that no incidents occur during the 14th National Party Congress.

In his remarks, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung said that security and order plans for the 14th National Party Congress have been deployed in a synchronized and effective manner in practice.

Based on the actual situation, the Public Security Forces will continue to perfect their security and order plans, as well as the plans to transport delegations and international guests, so as to ensure absolute security and safety for the 14th Party Congress, while minimizing impacts on the daily transportation and activities of citizens and businesses.

Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu praised the participating agencies and forces for their strong sense of responsibility, proactiveness and good coordination while performing their assignments during the upcoming 14th National Party Congress.

Regarding security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress, Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stressed that the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with relevant forces and agencies, has deployed plans in a thorough and effective manner. During the congress, he requested that all forces continue to strictly comply with security and safety regulations and procedures. 

He also agreed with the Ministry of Public Security’s proposal to bring forward the delegation transportation schedules and arrange motorcades for the transportation of delegations in a more scientific manner.
