In the 2024-2025 season, the Ha Noi Police Football Club will compete in two domestic professional tournaments, namely V-League 1 and the National Cup. In addition, it will participate in the first international tournament, namely the 2024–2025 ASEAN Club Championship. The other club, the PVF-CAND Football Club, will participate in V-League 2 and the National Cup.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association also praised athlete Trinh Thu Vinh of an air pistol shooter, as well as other teams and individuals for outstanding effort at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

At the ceremony, the Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association also debuted two new clubs: the Public Security Basketball Club and the Public Security Pickleball Club, after the commencement of the Public Security Baseball Club.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang highlighted that, over the past time, the sports and physical training movement in the Public Security Forces has achieved numerous positive results, contributing to building truly clean, revolutionary, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces to firmly safeguard and develop the Fatherland.

On behalf of the the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and praised the public security coaches and athletes for their achievements over the past time.
Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that, in the coming time, the Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association should closely coordinate with relevant under-ministerial departments to mobilize social resources to promote sports and physical training in the forces.

The Minister also requested the association to pay due attention to the work of selection, training and competition of high performance sports, while priotizing the development of key sports as well as sports suitable for international exchange and cooperation in the field of security and order.
