MPS supports Lang Son province in disaster relief

MPS - On the morning of September 25th, the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) handed over 2 billion VND to the Lang Son Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support the province in overcoming the aftermath of Typhoon No.3.


Under the authority of leaders of MPS, Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Vu Nhu Ha handed over 2 billion VND donated by police officers and enlistees nationwide to Lang Son province in support of local people’s effort to overcome the consequences of Typhoon No.3 and its accompanying disasters.

The donation demonstrated the compassion and empathy of the whole Public Security Forces for the affected people, hoping them to stabilize their lives and restore their business, production.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Vu Nhu Ha hoped that the local authority would promptly allocate the funding to people in need, while affirming that the Public Security Forces will closely coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front to carry out disaster relief work.

On behalf of the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Doan Hoang Son sincerely thanked leaders of MPS and the whole Public Security Forces for the support for people affected by Typhoon No.3 in the province.
